Stories of Gold
‘Stories of Gold’ is a temporary exhibition at the A. G. Leventis Gallery in Nicosia. The purpose of this special exhibition and of the major presentation of the gold coin collection that will ensue is to offer the visitor a different perspective of history. The Gallery’s curatorial team chose 12 coins which depict great moments in the history of economics and the world.

Publication
The appios® team was also assigned to design the catalogue which accompanies the inaugural exhibition. The design of the publication maintains a sense of a narrative that depicts great moments in the history of economics and the world. Coins are presented on white and grey backgrounds to give visual variety, while allowing a clean-cut presentation of individual pieces.
“Gold on gold is used for the cover page, along with a distinctive custom typography, in order to narrate the theme of the exhibition. For this special printing process, a great amount of care to detail was given in order to ensure that the gold accent was applied seamlessly and identically between the copies of the publication.”
