Solomos Frangoulides
In collaboration with A. G. Leventis Gallery, our office designed the exhibition "Solomos Frangoulides: THE PAINTER, THE ARTISTIC" where the works of this great Cypriot artist were presented. A pioneer painter of the first generation of contemporary Cypriot art, Solomos Fragoulides offered rich painting material and many writing samples.
The appios® team, responsible for the branding of the exhibition, wanted through a modest design to promote the work of the artist so that visitors can approach and understand this very special painter and art critic.

Publication
In a small but comprehensive catalogue we placed the most important works and sketches of the painter as well as excerpts from the reviews he published and some of his quotes.
The cover of the catalogue is adorned with a work by the artist entitled "The fisherman's house" created in 1963 and is representative of the painter's temperament and his name, logotype by our designers in a special way to intricately combine name and surname - as he had united his two loves, art and criticism.
