Draftsmen’s Congress

Draftmen’s Congress: Life Zone-Life Point. A captivating exhibition by the contemporary artist Paweł Althamer. Initially exhibited at the 7th Berlin Biennale in 2012, the exhibition was hosted by the A. G. Leventis Gallery, in collaboration with the DESTE Foundation and the Point Center for Contemporary Art, at a space that was brimming with blank walls for the visitors to come and produce something creative.

The work produced by appios® had to be equally unconventional. Commissioned with the design of exhibition’s branding, we created a logo consisting of two connecting circles that symbolise the two venues where the work had been exhibited at – A. G. Leventis Gallery & Point Center for Contemporary Art. The appios® team designed all the branding, including banners and interactive educational programs, allowing the invitees to explore Paweł's artistic view.

The typography that we created was also changing according to where it was applied, in order to attract a variety of visitors that would not be the usual crowd visiting the gallery.
