Coinage Museum
Established in 1995, the Museum of the History of Cypriot Coinage is the only museum in Cyprus displaying a numismatic collection. A collection of over 500 coins, developed over time by the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, covering nine chronological periods, from the 6th century BC to the modern issues of coins by the Republic of Cyprus. In 2009, the museum was transferred to a new exhibition space in the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Center in Phaneromeni, and the showcases were redesigned by appios® to blend harmoniously with their new home.
